Karma Films is an independent documentary film making and videography production label into inspirational people and their causes. Run by visual anthropologists Eda Elif Tibet and Inanç Tekgüç, we believe in the power of storytelling to create real change in the world, by creating focused, character-driven, and meaningful stories about the world we live in. Since 2012, Karma has produced documentary films that made into TV broadcasting, used for educational purposes at Universities and got screened in various international film festivals around the world.
One of our films "AMCHI" among many awards it won; has been honored with the Award of Excellence and for filmmaker of inspiration. Our other films on the nomadic pastoralists of Turkey "Hey Goat!", and the recent musical documentary "Refugee Here I Am" has also been granted with various awards and has receives great worldwide exposure.
We are open for collaborative projects and keen on establishing new partnerships from institutions, NGOs, individuals and filmmakers, for raising awareness and advocating on issues looking at people and their environments.
